Alan Riach in conversation with Roderick Watson for Imagined Spaces and 'Creative Conversations' (27 April 2026, University of Glasgow). This was a celebration of Roderick Watson's new book of poems, The Silver of Old Mirrors, in the context of Scottish Literature, and an introduction to the new reprinting of the classic novels of Neil Gunn, especially the centenary edition of The Grey Coast (1926). Both speakers ranged widely across the work of poetry and scholarship, retrieving works from the past and recollecting personal experiences for a contemporary poetry readership.
